A brand-new Annual Passholder lounge is having its soft opening before the official May 1 debut, and we have arrived for a sneak peek. This spot is located in the Toon Lagoon area of Islands of Adventure, occupying the former Betty Boop shop.
The New Annual Passholder Lounge
The doors swing open at 11 a.m. with Team Members ready to greet guests at an entrance podium. Hours may be subject to change once the lounge officially opens next month.
As its title suggests, the space is exclusive to passholders only, who can relax on couches and chairs in the lounge, charge electronic devices, pick up magnets or other perks, stock up and drinks and snacks, and shop for merchandise whilst in the air-conditioned room.
A large portion of the apparel and merchandise displayed is specifically branded for annual passholders, or UOAPs.
Soft drinks, Powerade, candy, and freestyle cups are among the refreshments on offer.
A myriad of clever signs and references are also featured:
The previous lounge at Universal Studios Florida closed December 31 last year.
