‘Hocus Pocus 3’ has gotten the green light. The fan-favorite Halloween movie about the Sanderson Sisters will be getting a third movie.
According to a New York Times article profiling Sean Bailey, who is responsible for many of the live-action Disney movies, the Sanderson Sisters will be back again for ‘Hocus Pocus 3.’
In the article, Bailey says, “Yes, “Hocus Pocus 3” is happening.” His division is responsible for two or three big-budget films annually for release in theaters. They are also responsible for three modestly budgeted movies for Disney+.
Details for the new movie have not yet been announced.

‘Hocus Pocus’ stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, and Bette Midler as the Sanderson Sisters.
While not initially a box office success on its release in 1993, ‘Hocus Pocus’ has become a staple of the Halloween season, having repeated viewings on Freeform throughout the month of October, its own stage show at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World, and plenty of themed merchandise and food offerings.
‘Hocus Pocus 2’ debuted on September 30, 2022 — 29 years after the original — on Disney+.
