REVIEW: Limited Time ‘Rogers: The Musical’ Captain America Red, White, & Blue Shake at Disney California Adventure

“Rogers: The Musical,” a stage show about Captain America inspired by the Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” has debuted at Disney California Adventure. Naturally, a host of themed food and beverages have arrived alongside it. Nearby the Hyperion in Hollywood Land, guests can stop by Schmoozies! for the Red, White, & Blue Shake.

Vanilla shake with wild cherry and blue raspberry slushes and whipped topping

At first sip, it tasted like a plain vanilla milkshake. Even after wiggling the straw around to hunt down the other flavors, it was still overpoweringly vanilla.

The texture of slush with soft serve was off-putting as well, especially since we couldn’t taste the cherry or blue raspberry.

The whipped cream was overflowing, and once it started melting in the SoCal sun, we had a big mess on our hands (literally).

Below is an official description of this new musical experience:

Exploring universal themes of heroism, romance and self-discovery, “Rogers: The Musical” is an exhilarating and heartfelt experience for Super Hero fans, theater enthusiasts and families alike. Plus, fan-favorites songs “Save The City” from the Disney+ series “Hawkeye” (written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman), and “Star Spangled Man” from the film “Captain America: The First Avenger” (written by Alan Menken and David Zippel).
