Guests can now trade their Disney Munchlings plush at DisneyStyle in Disney Springs — but with a few caveats. Here’s our breakdown of the experience.

We visited DisneyStyle with a Munchlings plush we had bought at World of Disney but we weren’t allowed to trade this one. Instead, we had to buy a new one at DisneyStyle.

According to Cast Members, including a coordinator, there are no exceptions to this rule: in order to trade, you must buy a mystery Munchlings plush at DisneyStyle.

So we bought another mystery Munchlings plush. The Cast Members asked us what we were hoping to get. We had picked up a Baked Treats mystery box and said we were hoping for a Baymax Toasted S’more or Eeyore Blueberry Muffin. But DisneyStyle didn’t have either available for trade, only for purchase.

We got the Stitch Pineapple Upside-Down Cake in our box and told the Cast Members at the register we wanted to trade. A Cast Member took the Stitch plush backstage and then returned with a Marie Macaron plush and a Minnie Strawberry Cupcake plush for us to choose from. We chose the Marie Macaron, which is the chaser plush from the Baked Treats series.

Presumably, a guest who goes to DisneyStyle to trade after us could pick up our Stitch Pineapple Upside-Down Cake.
