The new limited edition 25th anniversary Mulan doll is available for guests to purchase in Magic Kingdom. The doll features Mulan wearing a Hanfu in pink, blue and white. She has a serious expression and a floral hair ornament adorns her head as well.
The side of the packaging features a cutout window to view the side of Mulan’s Hanfu.
The back of the box has “Disney Mulan” printed in gold foil, with an image of a dragon beneath. Tied with a pink satin ribbon, the following is printed in three languages:
Disney artists are proud to present this limited-edition Mulan doll in celebration of the film’s 25th anniversary. Our fierce warrior is ready to make a hero out of you. But first, she must see the matchmaker. Draped in a Hanfu — a traditional Chinese robe — Mulan knows her path is not one of convention and expected custom. She brings honor to her family and culture by disguising herself as a man and going off to battle. It’s on the battlefield that Mulan’s bravery claims its reward of gratitude from the Emperor and honor for her family. Collectors and fans alike can take part in the magic with this specialty doll that’s just as magnificent and inspiring as Mulan.
Mulan’s Hanfu is white satin with pink and blue decorative elements, including a blue tassel and pink damask cloth.
Gold and pink embroidery decorates her Chinese ceremonial robe. A “Disney Mulan 25 Years” image is also printed on the packaging.

“Mulan” first released in theaters on June 19, 1998 in the United States. It is a retelling of an old Chinese folktale about a young Chinese woman who learns that her elderly and disabled father is to be called up into the army in order to fight the invading Huns. Knowing that he would never survive the difficulties of war, she decides to disguise herself as a male and join in his stead.
Unknown to her, Mulan’s ancestors are aware of this plan. In an effort to prevent it, they command a tiny disgraced dragon, Mushu, to join her in order to force Mulan to abandon her plan. He agrees to the task, but when he meets Mulan, he learns that she cannot be dissuaded and so decides instead to help her in the dangerous times ahead.
