Fans and collectors of the Wizard Cards that come with Chocolate Frogs will want to take a trip over to the Universal Orlando Resort soon. A brand new card has been added to the series of lenticular cards and, for a limited time, you can find them in specially marked boxes. Which witch or wizard is in the 2023 boxes? Let’s take a look!
New Chocolate Frog Card — Beatrix Bloxam
Beatrix Bloxam, a witch best known for her series of children’s books, is pictured with a quill in hand. This writer from the Wizarding World is featured here on the new 2023 card. These cards have a lenticular feature to them and are a fun souvenir to remember your visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Chocolate Frogs are $14 each and come in milk and dark chocolate options. The Beatrix Bloxam card is only available in the milk chocolate boxes, though.
If you’re hoping for a surprise and want a random card, be sure to find the other boxes without the gold sticker. The boxes without the stickers will give you one of the many other famous witches and wizards, including the possibility of the 2022 Wizard Card. Many of the main stores around Universal Orlando sell Chocolate Frogs, but the 2023 boxes are only in a few locations. We recommend Honeydukes in Hogsmeade, Sugar Plum’s in Diagon Alley, and the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk. Be sure to check for the gold seal on the outside. The gold sticker on the packaging that reads “New Wizard Card Inside!” and “2023” will always contain the new Beatrix Bloxom card. This makes it easy to add the latest card to your collection without going through multiple Chocolate Frogs. Once the marked boxes are gone, Beatrix Bloxam will become another random option you’ll be able to find in your Chocolate Frogs. So if you don’t have the chance to get one now, you’ll still have a chance of finding her at random in the future.
