Fans of Disney artist Eric Tan will be able to meet him and purchase new pins inspired by his Moonliner Astronaut figure series at Disneyland this weekend.
Disney Artist Eric Tan Pin Release and Signing
The event was announced on the Disneyland Magic Key Instagram page and the Disneyland official website.
This pin release and signing will take place at two different times on July 22: from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at TomorrowLanding in Tomorrowland in Disneyland, and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Disney’s Pin Traders in the Downtown Disney District.
The pin set is comprised of eight pins of Disney characters in their Moonliner astronaut outfits, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Peter Pan, Alice, Stitch, Jack Skellington from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and Marie.
Each boxed pin also includes a bonus, tiny mystery pin “that’s sure to send you over the moon” — our guess? The bonus mystery pin might be a piece of the Moonliner, the iconic rocket seen in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland from opening day through 1967.
Tan will only sign his respective merchandise, which must be purchased at the Disneyland Resort on the day of the event. Only one of each pin is able to be signed per guest, and no personal items will be signed.
These items are not eligible for refunds, exchanges, or returns. You will also need theme park reservations and valid admission for the same park on the same day in order to attend the first event inside Disneyland Park.
