Direct bus transportation will be available from select Walt Disney World Resort hotels to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park this summer.
Bus Transport to Typhoon Lagoon
Usually, resort hotel guests wishing to take a bus to Typhoon Lagoon would have to travel to Disney Springs and then transfer to a different bus. Guests will be able to travel directly by bus from the following resorts this summer:
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
This service will be available through early September. Guests at other resorts will still have to transfer at Disney Springs.
Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Typhoon Lagoon closed for a refurbishment in November 2022, when Blizzard Beach reopened with “Frozen” theming. Typhoon Lagoon reopened in March, and Blizzard Beach is now closed. The two water parks have not operated simultaneously since before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Themed as the ruins of a tropical paradise that was hit by an unbelievable typhoon and tidal wave, the park features eleven water-based attractions and a number of snack stands, bars, and interactive play features.
H2O Glow After Hours returned to Typhoon Lagoon in May. This special party includes themed food and beverage options, and a DJ dance party. The events run from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on the following dates.
- July 15, 22, 29 and 31
- August 5, 12, 19 and 26
- September 2
Tickets are $75 for adults and $70 for children. Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders can purchase tickets discounted tickets at $59 for adults and $54 for children. Cast Members can purchase tickets for $45.
