A new treat has arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom: the It’s Tough to Be a Bug Heimlich Brookie.
This new brownie with cookie elements is available at Creature Comforts, the Starbucks location on Discovery Island at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug Heimlich Brookie – $5.99
The brookie has two layers: one is the brownie, while the other is cookie dough.
The brownie portion tastes delightful, crunchy on the outside and moist inside. It’s not too heavy, and overall very good.
The chocolate chip cookie dough part tasted like Nutella to us, although there’s no actual Nutella in this treat.
There’s some sort of white filling between the two layers — reminiscent of cream cheese — that paired perfectly with the chocolate taste.
Heimlich, our friend from the 1998 film “A Bug’s Life,” tastes like sugar. Not too different from common Disney icing we’ve tasted before.
Be warned: this brookie is a little bit messy, and your finger may end up getting colored in green and gold sparkles from the decoration.
