  1. Although I finally realize which spelling of the word complementary is used in this article, it is confusing. I read it several times thinking the service was free.

  2. I am not a fan of monopolies. Competition improves customer service as two or more companies vie for customers. Each one attempts to make their product either a unique experience or a better value, or both. When two competitors merge like this, competition is eliminated. Customers now have no choice as to their bus transportation to and from WDW. It’s either this, taxi, or Über, and I can tell you that I can’t afford taxis or Übers. Even though the public statement claims that this merger was done to improve the customer experience, this is NOT what’s going to happen. Bean counters will find ways to lower costs and improve profits and it WILL be done at the expense of the customer experience.
I used Mears before the Disney Magical Express and I have used them since it went away and I have always have a good experience. I fear this may stop now that they have no incentive to be better. Time will tell, and I hope I am wrong. But I’m not holding my breath.
