Soarin’ Around the World takes guests on a simulated hang-gliding journey across some of the most iconic landmarks and natural wonders of the world; including Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Taj Mahal, and the Eiffel Tower. Other ongoing Disneyland Resort refurbishments include Alice in Wonderland, which will reopen later this month, and the Disneyland Resort Monorail, which will reopen in late August. This is the second recent closure for Alice in Wonderland, which briefly closed in June along with Mr. Toad’s Wild ride and Peter Pan’s Flight in Fantasyland.

The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure was also just closed for a short refurbishment. Meanwhile, Splash Mountain permanently closed on May 31 to be replaced with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is expected to open in late 2024.
