When menus for the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival were released, we were ecstatic to see that BeaverTails would be making their glorious return after being missing from EPCOT for 15 years. However, just a week before the festival opened, the BeaverTails were removed from the Refreshment Port menu with no explanation as to why. While we’re disappointed, at least the Refreshment Port has a specialty poutine and beer to make us feel better.

Braised Beef Poutine: French Fries with Braised Beef, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese Sauce, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Crumbles and Gherkin Relish – $10.00
Everyone on our team really enjoyed this. The fries were crispy and fresh, and the beef was tender and plentiful. It’s all topped off with a nice rich gravy as well. The cheese curds are okay, but the real standout here is the Boursin, which was plentiful and an excellent accompaniment to the beef. The gherkin relish was sparse but complimented the dish well. We wished there was more of it, but overall, this is a winner!

The 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is running from July 27 through November 18.
