Similar to the Flower & Garden festival, for the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, a special alcoholic beverage has been added to the menu at Connections Eatery. If you wander over, you’ll be able to try the Yucatan Sunset Margarita, which has flavors of passion fruit, lime, and orange juice!

*NEW* Remy Liege Waffle – $4.19
Cream Cheese Liege Waffle with Cream Cheese Icing, Graham Cracker Crumbs and a Remy Chocolate Garnish
With Remy, the liege waffle has been updated. It tasted like they’ve added cream cheese right into the batter. The waffle is pretty hard, so you can’t just break it apart with a fork, but this is how the waffle typically is throughout the festivals. That said, it seems that the waffle we had was a little bit harder than usual, with very predominant cream cheese flavor. If this was fresh, it would be amazing, but for us, it only tasted like a day-old cinnamon roll with a lot of cream cheese. Fresh, it would be excellent with these flavors, but as it stands, it’s just okay.
*NEW* Black Forest Baumkuchen – $5.99
This is a special version of the dish that you can typically get at Connections Eatery. This cake is fresh, as it’s really soft and moist.
The added fruit in the Chantilly cream help to make it even fresher.
If you are a fan of desserts with berries, you’ll probably like this.

Teremana Blanco Tequila, Passion Fruit Syrup, Bol’s Triple Sec 30 proof Liqueur, with Lime and Orange Juices
This was just all right. It definitely tastes like it’s watered down, with a lot more juice. There’s a lot of fruit flavor, It also helps that it’s served “on the rocks” (with ice). We still taste a bit of the alcohol, but it’s not overly strong, which is to be expected from Disney.

Connections Eatery can be found in World Celebration, with the main entrance near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You can find it at number 39 on the map above.
The 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is running from July 27 through November 18.
