*NEW* Crispy Duck Bao Bun with Hoisin Sauce – $8.25

This is pretty basic. If you go to your local Chinese restaurant, you can probably find something similar. The bao bun is solid and the teriyaki sauce is decently salty.

It’s an easy item to eat. It’s not bad, it’s not messy, but it also didn’t blow us away. It also makes for a good option for a little snack while you’re walking around World Showcase, as it’s not a giant portion.

Pan-Fried Chicken Dumplings with House-made Sweet-and-Spicy Sauce – $5.25

These were chewy and overcooked. They didn’t have a lot of flavor from the filling. For as much red “spicy” sauce is on the outside, it’s not very spicy. Otherwise, the sauce is good, with a little chili flavor.

Dandan Noodles: Spicy Pork with Sichuan Sauce, Peanut Butter and Sesame – $ 8.25

This is a weirdly spicy attempt at Pad Thai. It’s the wrong spices for China, which distracts from the remainder of the flavors. It tastes like it should be in India.

Passion Fruit Bubble Tea (Non-Alcoholic) – $7.25

This was a refreshing drink for the hot weather. The passion fruit isn’t super sweet, and there’s a touch of carbonation to it. However, we wish there was an alcoholic version of this, because the flavor is far better than the Good Fortune Citrus.

*NEW* Fiery Dream: Citrus Vodka, Triple Sec, Guava Nectar and Spicy Hot Honey Syrup – $13.75

This starts out with a palate that feels like any mixed drink. It’s a standard theme park cocktail, pretty simple, but after that, you get the taste of the hot honey. We liked that addition, as it’s what makes this cocktail unique.

Instead of being a drink that you’ve tasted a thousand times at any theme park or bar, the hot honey makes this worth a visit.

ByeJoe Punch: Chinese BaiJiu Spirit, Piña Colada Mix, Lychee Syrup and Sparkling Water – $13.00

This is one of the most refreshing drinks of the festival, with subtle hints of the featured flavors. Nothing is overpowering, and the alcohol pour is relatively heavy. It’s a solid choice.

Fireworks: Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila ($18/bottle), Citrus Vodka, Orange Juice and Mango Syrup – $14.00

You can ignite your taste buds with this drink, with Jose Cuervo Tequila Gold, vodka, mango syrup, and orange juice. Connoisseurs of Jose Cuervo will definitely know that this is Gold tequila instead of Silver, as the taste is very prevalent. It’s also a sweet drink with lots of mango flavor. Overall, we found it yummy and refreshing.

NEW* Brew Hub Lychee Foo Draft Beer, Lakeland, FL (6.0% ABV) – $5.25 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

According to Untappd, this is “an American India Pale Ale brewed with 2-Row, crystal malts and dry hopped with Simcoe hops and conditioned on lychee.”
