New Capacity Management System In Place for Team Members Attending Halloween Horror Nights 32

On the heels of today’s “Stranger Things” haunted house announcement, Universal Studios Florida has also announced Team Member discount and complimentary ticket information for Halloween Horror Nights 32. This year, they are including a new capacity managed system that may disallow Team Members from attending based on capacity.

Halloween Horror Nights Team Member Access

Team Members will have access to complimentary event admission on up to 21 event nights, based on availability in the capacity managed system:

  • Nineteen (19) non-peak nights (September 4-30)
  • Two (2) peak nights (September 1-3, October 1-November 4)

The capacity managed availability system is something new this year for Team Members. In prior years, Team Members could attend HHN on any and all select nights. Now, these nights will be capped by a certain capacity and Team Members will be required to register for a Team Member ID pass — something that is also new this year. Team Members must have a Team Member ID Pass and their valid UOTM ID to attend the event. If a night has reached capacity, Team Members will not be able to register or attend the event.

Team Members must register for each and all nights they plan to attend. They will be able to order Halloween Horror Nights Team Member ID Passes in ETDS beginning on Tuesday, August 1.

Something that is new this year for Team Members is that in order to attend HHN 32 as a Guest, Team Members will need to present TWO items at the front gate: their UO Team Member ID and a valid Team Member ID Pass.

Team Members also have the option to provide discounted tickets for friends and family. They may purchase up to a total of six (6) discounted Halloween Horror Nights tickets for this year’s event.

Team Members looking to bring a guest for free can exchange one (1) of their Standard Allotment Comp Tickets in ETDS (External Ticket Distribution System) for any event night, based on capacity managed availability. Team Members will be able to make a Comp Ticket exchange in ETDS beginning on Tuesday, August 1.

Team Members get a 35% discount on merchandise (excluding sundries and collectibles) at any UO-owned and operated location by presenting their UO Team Member ID at the time of purchase. This applies to Halloween Horror Nights merchandise, as well.

Halloween Horror Nights 32

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights x Stranger Things

Halloween Horror Nights is an annual hard-ticket event held each fall at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, and Universal Studios Singapore. It takes place on select nights between September and October (and sometimes November). This year’s event will be held from September 1 through October 31 at Universal Studios Florida.

Admission is separate from regular theme park admission. You do not need theme park admission to attend Halloween Horror Nights, but if you have a day ticket, it allows you to stay in the park to wait rather than exit and re-enter when the event opens.

Halloween Horror Nights 32 will feature 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, and an unconfirmed amount of live entertainment. “The Last of Us” is only the second confirmed house, with “Chucky” having been announced last year. You can check out a fan-made speculation map of the rumored lineup.

Guests can purchase Express Passes to skip the regular queue. RIP Tours offer a guided experience, with private and non-private options available.
