Magic Kingdom

• Magic Kingdom will not be offering the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit for guests staying at select Walt Disney World and affiliate hotels in late September and October.

EPCOT

• On a recent visit to EPCOT, we came across Cast Members making towel animals to display in the restrooms at Connections Eatery.
• We checked in on some construction progress around the park, from the parking lot to World Showcase.

• Yoo hoo! Big Summer Blowout! A new discount shop themed to Wandering Oaken from Frozen has opened at the Marketplace Co-Op.

New Merchandise

• The Art of Disney: Live Entertainment 2024 poster calendar is now available.
• A new collection of Funko Pop! figures and plush inspired by “Haunted Mansion” are now available for pre-order.
• shopDisney is receiving new merchandise from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, including Legacy Lightsabers and the iconic Camtono Safe.

Other Walt Disney World News

• By accepting the position of District Administrator for the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District, Glen Gilzean, Jr. violated a rule of the Florida Commission on Ethics, for which he is the chairperson. He may need to resign now.
• “Stay Near the Magic” this fall with a 20% discount available at Disney Springs resort area hotels.

Disneyland Resort

• This new light-up Minnie Mouse as Winifred Sanderson sipper is sure to put a spell on you, available September 5.
• Disneyland Resort has released their full guide to all the special Halloween food, beverages, and souvenirs that will be available this year.
• A collection of 19 new platinum Disney 100 collectible medallions have appeared at Disneyland Resort as part of the 100 Years of Wonder celebration.
• A new Magic Key Holder-exclusive Mirrored Mickey-Shaped Sipper is set to make its debut August 22.
• Disneyland Resort has released an image of the new Mickey Mouse Skeleton Bucket that will be available this season as well.
• Disneyland Resort Magic Key Holders can save on their next stay at Hilton Anaheim thanks to a 20% discount on offer.

Tokyo Disney Resort

• Customizable Mickey-shaped “Moments-Go-Round” display items are now available at Tokyo Disney Resort for the destination’s 40th anniversary.

Disneyland Paris

• A Disneyland Paris Cast Member who participated in this summer’s strike was unexpectedly fired this week over waffle toppings.

Disney Cruise Line

• We took a culinary voyage through the Triton’s menu with Alaskan regional inspirations aboard the Disney Wonder.

Entertainment and Media

• The highly anticipated trading card game Disney Lorcana releases tomorrow at select locations, though it may not be available for purchase at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort for the initial release as originally planned.
