For those hoping to add more Halloween spirit to their decorative popcorn bucket collection, a brand-new design featuring ghost Mickey Mouse attached to a jack-o’-lantern has debuted at Tokyo Disneyland. As previously reported, this souvenir bucket is also being sold at the American Waterfront in Tokyo DisneySea starting September 1.
This new item is available at the popcorn cart by The Gazebo, right around the boundary between the park’s central hub and Adventureland.
By the time we had left at around 9:00 a.m. JST, the queue was already stretched out well beyond the immediate area, with an estimated hour and a half wait.
Ghost Mickey Mouse Popcorn Bucket – ¥3200 ($22)
The bucket itself is bright orange, with a smiling pumpkin face as the centerpiece.
A ghostly Mickey Mouse with an ear headband rests on top, and the lid also opens from this area.
“Have a Happy Halloween!” is written across the lanyard strap connected to the bucket, with spider-webs and pumpkins comprising the artwork. Purple clips connect the strap to the bucket.
Three AAA batteries power the popcorn bucket’s light-up functionality.

Halloween at Tokyo Disney Resort 2023
Disney Halloween 2023 will see the return of the Spooky “Boo!” Parade, where ghosts invite Mickey Mouse, his Disney friends, and guests into their world.
New for this year, however, will be the ability for guests to purchase Disney Premier Access for the parade, where they can view it from designated viewing areas. This year will also mark the return of the parade’s dancers, as well as two show stops along the parade route.
The Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare will also return this year, and will welcome guests starting September 14 through January 8. 2024.
At Tokyo DisneySea, guests can enjoy a Halloween greeting featuring Mickey Mouse and friends dressed in their pumpkin and candy costumes at the Mediterranean Harbor. The greeting will last for about 15 minutes and happen twice a day.
