Earlier in August, a music fest bus, giant bats, and more themed elements were added to Halloween Horror Nights 32 scare zones in Universal Studios Florida. Now, we’ve noticed new cages in Shipyard 32, torches and crates in Jungle of Doom, and another zodiac symbol in Dark Zodiac.

Shipyard 32: Horrors Unhinged

In this scare zone, outside the Fast & Furious: Supercharged exit, guests will “enter a 1940s San Francisco shipping yard full of mysterious crates and cages bearing Dr. Oddfellow’s symbol. Beware, his nightmarish oddities have now escaped, spreading fear and chaos in their wake.”

A large wooden cage sits next to two shipping crates.

Temporary metal fencing is around the cage.

We can expect scare actors to appear inside the cage.

Another stack of crates is right outside the ride’s exit.

A metal frame, shaped like a buoy, has been installed around a nearby truss.

Jungle of Doom: Expedition Horror

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9630

The Jungle of Doom scare zone takes place after “Dr. Oddfellow ventured deep into the darkest jungle” in the 1920s, “performing horrific experiments on nature. Now his monstrous creations are running amok and are coming after you.”

New bamboo torches have been installed on either side of the Central Park pathway.

This scare zone is filled with stone walls, like the ruins of a temple, and small crates.

There are two large sail-shaped structures with giant leaves on the sides.

There are also wooden and metal barrels.

The green metal barrels are labeled “98 octane.”

A small wooden box is labeled “220 cartridge .30 cal,” a type of rifle bullet.

One large box has a painted red symbol that resembles a flying bat.

Speaking of bats, they still hang over the scare zone.

The wires they hang from have been decorated with green streamers, to help them blend in with the tree branches above.

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9651

The black bats are wrapped up in their wings, hanging upside-down as they sleep.

The crashed plane was installed earlier this month.

It has since been wrapped with fake vines.

Another small crate seems to have blood splatter on it.

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9655

It sits on a barrel of “motor oil.”

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9656

A crate on the ground is for “Atlas Extra Dynamite.”

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9659

And another has an “explosive” warning.

Crews have added more greenery to the largest temple walls at one end of the scare zone.

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9667

There are plants around the base of this wall and spilling over the top, while vines run up the sides of it.

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9668

Moss is across the smaller walls in front of the larger structure.

Dark Zodiac

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9683

In the Hollywood area of the park, “Dr. Oddfellow has entered a dark dimension to harness the power of the Zodiac and live forever. He twists the signs into malevolent beings who foretell your doom. As his star rises, yours falls.”

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9686

There are metal sculptures representing each zodiac.

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9687

A crab sculpture has been added to the platform with the Scorpio scorpion and Pisces fish.

hhn 32 scare zone construction aug 9689

The crab represents Cancer.
