Halloween Horror Nights Scare Zones and Entertainment
The full lineup of haunted houses, Terror Tram, scare zones and entertainment for Halloween Horror Nights 2023 at Hollywood has now been released, including original frights and some experiences inspired by recent horror films. More information is available below:
Terror Tram…The Exterminatorz
Terror Tram is back and this time the bugs are taking over. Tour Guide Larry Larva and his bug-headed exterminators are out to get rid of human pests once and for all. You’ll be dropping like flies.
Universal shared an official trailer for this year’s Terror Tram on the official Halloween Horror Nights Twitter account. The trailer features the tram in action and introduces Larry Larva, who drives the tram as the people surrounding the clip’s protagonist transform into hideous insects.
You can watch the full trailer directly from the Horror Nights Twitter (X) account:
‘Evil Dead: Rise’
A haunted house based on “Evil Dead: Rise” is coming to Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Studios Hollywood’s official website shares that the attraction will be based in a Los Angeles-area apartment building (thankfully, we don’t think they’re charging rent).
The website describes the experience as such:
An ancient curse rises in a new setting: an L.A. apartment building. The Book of the Dead is about to unleash unimaginable horrors on you and your scream squad. Evil has come home.
“Evil Dead: Rise,” the fifth film in the “Evil Dead” franchise, was released on April 21, 2023 to generally positive critical and fan reception. The Warner Bros. Pictures release earned just over $146 million at the worldwide box office, proving to be a financial success.
Holidayz in Hell
From New Year’s Eve to Thanksgiving, your favorite holidays to celebrate with your friends are going to hell. ‘Tis the season to scream in this holiday nightmare. The scarier, the merrier.
Holidayz in Hell is also set to make a return. The attraction was introduced as a scare zone at Halloween Horror Nights in 2018, and the theme was used again for a maze at Halloween Horror Nights 2019.
These attractions join an already extensive list of previously announced experiences, one of them being Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America, an original house based on the folklore of Central and South America. There will also be a haunted house named Universal Monsters: Unmasked, an attraction based on the classic monster movies that helped the studio rise to entertainment prominence in the mid-20th century. Houses based on “Chucky,” “Stranger Things,” “The Exorcist: Believer,” “The Last of Us,” and “Chucky” are also in the lineup.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood will run on select nights from September 7 through October 31, 2023. El Terror de las Momias

It’s you vs. chainsaw-wielding ghostz.
A maniacal toymaker is using dark magic to bring evil toyz to life, including a porcelain doll, teddy bear, nutcracker and ballerina. Now these devilish toyz are out of the toybox and after you!
Blumhouse: Behind the Screams
Take a behind the screams look at some of your favorite and upcoming Blumhouse films with a killer surprise.
Don’t miss this new show where you will be thrust into The Purge during a fiery, EDM-fueled stunt spectacular.
