“Stranger Things” Surfer Boy Pizza has arrived at Universal Studios Florida for Halloween Horror Nights 32, along with a Yeti-inspired food booth, even more scare zone theming, and a strange Cthulhu figure.
Shipyard 32: Horrors Unhinged Scare Zone
Enter a 1940s San Francisco shipping yard full of mysterious crates and cages bearing Dr. Oddfellow’s symbol. Beware, his nightmarish oddities have now escaped, spreading fear and chaos in their wake.
The park’s San Francisco area now holds human-sized cages and crates.
This scare zone’s theming is mostly around the exit of Fast & Furious: Supercharged.
Short concrete walls with rusty railings have been installed near the ride’s exit archways.
Another new crate has arrived and is surrounded by temporary fencing.
Jungle of Doom: Expedition Horror Scare Zone
In the 1920s, Dr. Oddfellow ventured deep into the darkest jungle, performing horrific experiments on nature. Now his monstrous creations are running amok and are coming after you.
In the Jungle of Doom, it looks like someone managed to parachute out of that plane before it crashed.
The tan parachute is draped among the tree branches that hang over the sidewalk, between wires covered in green streamers.
What happened to whoever was attached to the parachute remains a mystery for now…
Giant bags were hung from the wires a few days ago.
More foliage has been added around the crashed plane, obscuring the non-themed base.
Vines run all the way up the plane’s tail, showing that it has been in the jungle for some time.
Vines also crawl up this faux stone box.
Leaves and brown branches line the railings at the edge of the sidewalk.
A few more crates and barrels have also appeared in the scare zone.
A vintage camera sits on one barrel.
This box is for Gluston’s Biscuit from Auburn, Maine.
Another vintage camera is atop a gasoline barrel.
A new set of crates is near the largest “stone” wall.
This tall brown box is labeled “premium corned beef.”
Stranger Things & Yeti Food Booths
Two food booths with themed façades have been installed in the park’s New York section.
The red and yellow one appears to be inspired by Surfer Boy Pizza from “Stranger Things” season 4, a rumored addition to Halloween Horror Nights 32 to go with the “Stranger Things 4” haunted house.
The booth has a fake brick façade that has been painted yellow with a red border and roof overhang.
A red checker pattern is below the window.
The window and side doorway are currently blocked by tarps, and the two menu boards are empty.
Red brick planters are on either ends of the booth.
The second booth appears to be Yeti-inspired, to go with the YETI: Campground Kills haunted house.
It resembles a log lodge with a stone base.
There are a few claw marks across the façade.
A pair of antlers and snow shoes are above the window.
Cthulhu in Window
Lastly, we noticed something strange in the Boris Shuster window above the New York streets.
Boris Shuster is a private investigator character last featured in Case Files Unearthed: Legendary Truth, a haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights 30.
The statue now peering out of his agency window is a Cthulhu-type creature with several sets of glowing red eyes.
The eyes blink on and off as the creature observes passersby.
We don’t know what this statue could be a teaser for — maybe the comic-themed Tribute Store?
