The Maleficent Churro and eerie green Peanut Butter Dipping Sauce have returned for Halloween Time at Disneyland.

Both items can be found at the churro carts near Sleeping Beauty Castle and in Town Square.

Classic churro rolled in chocolate cookie crumbles

This churro had the odd surprise of a fruit sugar intermixed with the chocolate cookie crumble. It’s not unwelcome, but being unlisted on the menu led to a surprising pop of fruit flavor amid the darker chocolate cookie crumble. This unique combination of fruit sugar and chocolate leads to a wholly unique churro and something we won’t soon forget.

Peanut Butter Dipping Sauce – $1.50

Creamy peanut butter and vanilla dipping sauce 

The peanut butter sauce on its own is fine, but it’s distracting from the already complex chocolate fruit churro and only serves as a sensory overload. Of the two, the chocolate fruit churro is much better. In the future, we will opt for just the churro by itself and leave the peanut butter icing out.

Halloween offerings at Disneyland will be available through November 9.
