The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers will not open at Disney’s BoardWalk this year as Disney originally announced in August 2022.
The Cake Bake Shop is taking over the former ESPN Club space and remains in the midst of construction. The 2023 opening timeframe has been removed from the official Cake Bake Shop website. A new timeframe was not announced, the shop is just “coming soon.”
The Cake Bake Shop will include a table-service restaurant and a quick-service bakery. The restaurant will offer breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, desserts, and cocktails “in an exquisite atmosphere filled with magic and wonder while you take in views of Crescent Lake.”
Some of the bites that will be available at the Bakery include:
- Cookies
- French macarons
- Brownies
- Dessert bars
- Pies
- Cheesecakes
