A refreshing blend of seasonal and festive flavors was recently added to the Halloween menu at Swirls on the Water at Disney Springs, as an Apple Cider Slush with Pumpkin Soft Serve is now available for purchase.

Swirls on the Water is located on the Marketplace side of Disney Springs.

Apple Cider Slush – $5.99 (Available Sept. 1 – Oct. 31)

Apple cider, pumpkin soft-serve and an apple slice (also available with Fireball Cinnamon Whisky – $14.50)

We did not order this slush with a splash of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, though we wish we had, as the flavors would’ve complemented each other well. The Apple Cider Slush is delicious on its own, though; the cider is great, and turning it into a slush adds a refreshing note that incorporates a splash of summer in this fall-centric treat.

The pumpkin soft serve is subtle, allowing it to work well with the cider. We think the light pumpkin flavor worked to this dessert’s benefit, but if you’re looking for a heavy pumpkin presence, this isn’t the treat for you.

Once the pumpkin (rather quickly) starts melting into the cider, it creates a really strong combination of flavors that’s sweet and perfectly seasonal. If it’s your thing, however, we would recommend adding the Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, as the cinnamon would’ve added a nice layer of flavor and the heat would’ve undercut some of the sweetness. That said, it’s not totally needed, and this is still our favorite Halloween addition to the Swirls on the Water menu.

The Apple Cider Slush was introduced as part of the Halloween menu at Siwrls on the Water alongside the Haunted Mansion Cone and DOLE Whip Sampler.
