Bruno has exited the walls of Casita Madrigal and has arrived at Walt Disney World Resort. The beloved character from the 2021 Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Encanto” made his debut in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade in Magic Kingdom on September 15 to coincide with the start of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month. The parade banner at the front of the parade has been updated to reflect the park’s celebration of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, and several other characters have been added to the lead float from other Disney stories in celebration of the holiday.

The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade is performed at least once daily, typically at 5:10 p.m. ET. It commences in Frontierland and ultimately runs down Main Street, U.S.A. The show debuted as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World in 2022 and features the most characters of any Walt Disney World cavalcade yet.

Featuring about 30 different characters, Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade stepped off for the first time in February of 2022.
Miguel, seen above on the lead float as part of the featured performers, usually walks just behind the banner of the parade with Jessie, Woody, Mrs. Incredible, and Mr. Incredible.
The usual characters on the first float include Merida, who is currently walking in front of the lead float. Pocahontas, Raya, and Mulan were also riding on the second float today, but are shown here from other parades on this front float.
The parade includes several animal friends, typically Meeko, Timon, Turk, Baloo, and King Louie. Jasmine, Aladdin, and Genie walk behind.
This float carries Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, and Clarabelle. When they aren’t headlining the parade for Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, Jose and Panchito ride on the back of this float.
Following this float, Marie, Max, Stitch, Mary Poppins, and Bert close out the parade.

“Encanto” at Disney Parks
Disney announced that Bruno would be making his debut in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade in mid-August after posting a casting call in June. The character had previously made his Disney Parks debut at Disney California Adventure for Oogie Boogie Bash 2022.
Bruno appears in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade instead of his niece Mirabel, who appeared in the show since 2022 until today’s change. A permanent Mirabel meet and greet debuted in the Fairytale Garden in the Fantasyland section of Magic Kingdom on September 15. More “Encanto” characters could soon be coming to Disney Parks, as Walt Disney World recently posted a casting call for a Luisa Madrigal performer.
Even more “Encanto” representation may be coming to Walt Disney World in the future. Walt Disney Imagineering presented a potential Tropical Americas-themed overhaul of Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort at Destination D23 2023, referencing “Encanto” as one of the land’s intellectual property tie-ins.
