If you’re one to collect physical media and are running low on shelf space, you’re in luck — Disney recently announced a new Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection that contains 100 animated films from studios like Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Disneytoon, and more. The Blu-Ray set is scheduled to be released on November 14 and has a retail price of $1,500.

The Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection coincides with Disney’s 100th anniversary. It comes in a large white box and contains three volumes that each represent a different time frame; the first volume, for example, contains films from 1937–1998, revealed in a short trailer posted on the Disney Movies YouTube channel.

Each volume is white with gold detailing and acts like a book; they’re all “hardbound and self-standing,” per the trailer, and you’re able to flip through pseudo-pages that contain original theatrical posters and release years for each film. The discs are held within these ‘pages.’

The set also comes with digital codes for each film and a numbered certificate of authenticity. A lithograph depicting a scene from the upcoming Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Wish” is also included; “Wish” is scheduled to release in theaters on November 22, eight days after this box set releases.

A crystal set of Mickey Mouse ears is even included in the collection. The collectible has the Disney 100 logo engraved into it. Pre-orders for the Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection open on the Walmart website on September 18.

The curated selection of films includes each of the 61 movies produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios; this includes “Make Mine Music,” a 1946 anthology film that is the only Walt Disney Animation Studios feature-length production not currently available to watch on the Disney+ streaming service.

Every feature-length Pixar film is also included in the collection; Disney initially served as a co-financier and distributor of Pixar films and acquired the animation house outright in 2006. Films in Pixar’s library include “Toy Story,” “The Incredibles,” and “Ratatouille,” among many others.

Select films from the now-defunct Disneytoon Studios, such as “A Goofy Movie,” “Return to Neverland,” and the “Planes” franchise, are also included in the set. Disneytoon Studios primarily produced direct-to-video sequels and spinoffs of classic and Disney Renaissance-era films and closed in 2018.

Selected films not produced by one of the aforementioned studios include “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “James and the Giant Peach,” “The Tigger Movie,” and “Frankenweenie.” “The Nightmare Before Chrismas” and “James and the Giant Peach” were each produced by Skellington Productions, a joint enterprise between Walt Disney Animation Studios, Henry Selick, and Tim Burton (though Walt Disney Animation Studios proper did work on each film). “The Tigger Movie” was produced by Disney Animation Japan while “Frankenweeine” was produced by Tim Burton Productions; each film was distributed by Disney.
