Incredicoaster, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and Jumpin’ Jellyfish will run during World of Color – ONE performances in the coming weeks as Disney California Adventure conducts operational tests.

The attractions have never operated during any iteration of World of Color, including back when Incredicoaster was California Screamin’.

Jessie’s Critter Carousel and Pixar-Pal-A-Round will continue to close for the nighttime spectacular. Toy Story Midway Mania will continue to operate.

World of Color – ONE is performed at 9:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. most nights.

Incredicoaster

California Screamin’ was an opening day attraction at Disney California Adventure in 2001, designed by Werner Stengel and built by Intamin. At the time, the land was named Paradise Pier. When it was renamed Pixar Pier and rethemed to the classic animated films, California Screamin’ became Incredicoaster, inspired by the Incredibles. It closed in January 2018 and reopened as Incredicoaster in June 2018.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind

The Maliboomer was an opening-day Space Shot attraction in Paradise Pier that closed in 2010. The space was used as a small garden and then Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind was eventually constructed. The new spinning ride opened in 2019.

World of Color – ONE

WorldofColorOneDebut 40

World of Color premiered as part of Summer Nightastic! in 2010. It’s performed on the water in front of Pixar Pier using 1,200 water fountains, lights, fire, lasers, fog, and projections on mist screens.

The latest iteration of World of Color debuted as part of the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration, honoring 100 years of The Walt Disney Company. The show features moments from across Disney’s varied franchises. It tells a new story of how a single action, like a drop of water, creates a ripple that can grow into a wave of change. The show’s original song, “Start a Wave,” is available for streaming.
