Concrete work is being done in front of the Chinese Theatre at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where several sections of pavement have drying concrete behind temporary barriers.
Concrete Replacement Near Chinese Theatre

Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios will notice a small construction zone directly in front of the Chinese Theatre, home to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

One section of drying concrete is the Bob Hope signature and handprint, which looks identical to the original in the same place, both dated 5/1/89. Comedian Bob Hope was born in London, England, in 1903 and passed away in 2003.

The work is focused on sections of pavement that include the park’s “Walk of Fame”-style tiles, which pay tribute to Disney legends, celebrities, and notable contributors to The Walt Disney Company.
The other section of wet concrete is this one above the George Lucas print. This square was previously smooth concrete, similar to the one to the right of it.
