Daveigh Chase, star of The Ring and Lilo and Stitch, has passed away at the age of 35. TMZ confirmed her passing through her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez.

Per TMZ, Chase had been admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles earlier in June due to malnutrition. However, her boyfriend explained that she had gotten meningitis and subsequent blood infections.
The actress was born in 1990 in Las Vegas and began began formal vocal and dance training as a young child. In addition to The Ring and Lilo and Stitch, she also starred in Donnie Darko, Big Love, Jack Goes Home, and American Romance.
