Scalawags and scoundrels, ahoy! The current treasure trove of fanciful headgear at The Mad Hatter includes this new Pirate Mickey ear headband, ready to sail the seven seas (or at least take a ride on Pirates of the Caribbean). We also found a new Minnie ear headband decorated to resemble Belle’s ballgown from “Beauty and the Beast.”
New Pirate Mickey Ear Headband – $34.99
The ears are red and white striped, with a pirate hat and red sash detail in the center.
The ears are stitched along the edges in white.
The bicorn hat is 3-D plush, situated between the ears.
There is a Jolly Roger skull-and-crossbones design on the small bicorn hat. The red sash is knotted to make it appear tied on.
The black band of the hat is edged in a gold aiguillette cord.
The back of the pirate mickey ear headband shows the white piping detail on the bicorn; the striped design on the front of the ears continues on the back.
New Belle Ballroom Dress Ear Headband – $34.99
While perusing the wares at Mad Hatter, we also found this new set of Belle ears, designed to resemble her yellow dress from the iconic ballroom scene.
The ears are designed to be the same pale yellow as her ballroom dress from the animated feature.
Each satin ear is detailed with small pearl accents. The fabric is printed with roses.
The bottom of each ear is wrapped in an organza fabric, ruched to resemble Belle’s ballgown.
The bow between the ears is layered with gold sequins, more of the yellow organza fabric, and finished with a red organza rosette in the center.
The headband itself is solid yellow and does not feature any embroidery or additional detailing.
From the back, the ruched fabric detailing is not visible on the ear headband. The sequined bow is the only layer visible from behind.
