REVIEW: Nightmare Fuel Revenge Dream is the Show’s Best Iteration Yet at Halloween Horror Nights 32

A new version of a fan-favorite show has debuted at Halloween Horror Nights 32: Nightmare Fuel Revenge Dream. The show is performed four times nightly during HHN at 8:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 11:00 p.m., and 12:30 a.m.

Nightmare Fuel at HHN

Previous iterations of Nightmare Fuel have been performed in the last two consecutive years. Halloween Nightmare Fuel was part of HHN30, and Nightmare Fuel Wildfire was performed at HHN31.

Wildfire was a “sequel” to the original, but carried the same story following an unnamed protagonist as his nightmares come to life on Halloween Night. This year, a new tale is told featuring a new dreamer confronting the creature that’s been turning her dreams into nightmares.

Nightmare Fuel Revenge Dream

The show’s official description reads:

The show that sparked your darkest dreams has reignited. Let your nightmares burn out of control as the pyro and aerial performers fire you up to the beat of metal and electronica.

Review

This is the best version of Nightmare Fuel yet, and the most violent. Story cohesion improved a lot and, as always, the stunts were daring and incredible.

The performers are clearly classically trained. At one point, the Nightmare Queen did a handstand on someone’s head. She also stood on his shoulders in six-inch heels. The stunt work is nothing short of impressive.

Unlike the previous iterations of Nightmare Fuel, we’ll be happy to revisit this one again and again during the Halloween Horror Nights season.
