Two new balloon designs have made their debut at Disneyland Park for the Halloween season, featuring Mickey and his pals dressed up in their costumes, and familiar friends from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Mickey & Friends Happy Halloween Balloon – $20
This balloon features Pluto, Donald, Goofy, and Mickey, all dressed up for the spooky season.
Pluto is dressed like a scrappy pirate.
Donald is wearing his devil costume, while Goofy and Mickey are a mummy and a skeleton, respectively.
Everyone is shown standing behind a fence that reads, “Happy Halloween.” A small Jack-o’-lantern is off to the right side. Spooky, leafless trees are on both sides of the group.
The other side of the balloon shows the three ghosts from the classic Donald Duck short, “Trick or Treat.” The trio is standing above Donald, who looks less than excited to risk sharing his Halloween candy.
‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Balloon – $20
The other new Halloween balloon brings an iconic moment from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” to life, as Jack and Sally stand together, holding hands on the spiral hill. Bats fly all around them on both sides of the balloon.
The opposite side of the balloon has Oogie Boogie giving his most menacing grin, surrounded by more bats.
