Bavarian filled churro topped in Cola glaze topped with carbonated sugar
This was one of the menu items we were most looking forward to trying. It’s an interesting flavor combination with a sticky cola glaze and carbonated sugar on the outside and a Bavarian cream on the inside. There wasn’t an overwhelming amount of Bavarian cream filling, which allowed the glaze to be the standout here. The sweet, sticky glaze has a light cola flavor, reminiscent of caramel. The sugar isn’t too sweet, but we’re not too sure what makes it carbonated. With the Bavarian cream and the glaze, you might even get donut vibes from this treat. It’s easy to grab and eat while waiting in line for Nightmare Fuel Revenge Dream or The Darkest Deal haunted house.
The churro was fresh and the idea of a soda pop churro is unique enough to give this one a try on your visit to Halloween Horror Nights. This wasn’t memorable enough to go out of our way to get again, but it was still tasty. If you’re not looking for something quite as adventurous as the Soda Pop Churro, we would recommend the vegan churros from the Dia de los Muertos booth.
Location
The MIB ICEE Stand is located in World Expo across from Men In Black: Alien Attack at Universal Studios Florida. The location has a spooky vibe during Halloween Horror Nights with cute artwork on the buildings and some outdoor seating. The Coca-Cola Refresh building across from the ICEE stand is only available for RIP guests during Halloween Horror Nights.
