The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers has issued an update regarding its opening timeline on its official Facebook page. The new eatery was previously announced as opening sometime in 2023.
The Cake Bake Shop Updates Opening Timeline
As we previously reported, the 2023 opening timeframe was removed from the official shop website in August, leaving it just to say that the location was “coming soon.”
Now, in a post to their Facebook page, it has been announced that the new dining location is looking to an opening timed for early 2024. You can see the post for yourself below.
All of us at The Cake Bake Shop are eager to unveil the beautiful details and charm that are coming to Disney’s BoardWalk! As the excitement is building and our hearts are brimming with anticipation, we expect to open our doors early next year to welcome you to an unforgettable dining experience. The Cake Bake Shop is taking over the former ESPN Club space and remains in the midst of construction. Once open, it will include a table service restaurant and a quick service bakery, with breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, desserts, and cocktails available.

- Cookies
- French macarons
- Brownies
- Dessert bars
- Pies
- Cheesecakes
