The latest installment of “Disney Paper Parks” on Disney Parks Blog teaches fans how to create their own Mystic Manor carousel book inspired by the original attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland.

This pop-up carousel book features many of the eccentric scenes in the manor house and private museum of Lord Henry Mystic. For each scene, cut out all the pieces and follow the instructions in the activity sheets using scissors, glue, string, and folding along dotted lines in specific directions. Afterward, this inanimate object can spring to life as if it were inside Mystic Manor, taking you through parts of the attraction!
For best results, we recommend printing the activity sheets at their actual size, not scaling them to fit the page. We also recommend adult participation or supervision for those with little ones to help make this activity more enjoyable.

Mystic Manor
Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland is inspired by The Haunted Mansion at other Disney Parks, but with no mentions of the afterlife to be respectful to Chinese culture. Instead, it features an original story starring Lord Henry Mystic and his pet monkey, Albert, with connections to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.). It opened in the Mystic Point area of Hong Kong Disneyland in May 2013.
