Returning Holiday Merchandise

In addition to the Mickey Mouse toy soldier popcorn bucket, Disney shared a few peeks at some returning merchandise favorites to the holiday lineup heading back to Disneyland Resort.

This Mickey Mouse-shaped Red Glitter Jingle Bell Glow Cube will be available to make spirits (and non-alcoholic beverages) bright.

The popular Kermit holiday straw clip is poised to bring some cheer.

The reindeer parade sipper is making a return.

New Shareable Loaded Torta

Finally, this Shareable Loaded Torta for ¡Viva Navidad! at Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays 2023 didn’t come with more of a description of the dish, but the image shared appears live up to its name with guacamole, tomatoes, a white cheese or egg, a shredded meat, a breaded, fried meat, another spread, and more.

Are you looking forward to trying this new torta and jingling all the way through Disneyland Park with your new Mickey Mouse toy soldier popcorn bucket, or are you holding out for some of these festive returning favorites? Let us know in the comments.

Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure

Disneyland Resort has announced the dates and details for their 2023 Christmas and winter holiday festivities, including Viva Navidad and Festival of Holidays. The holiday season will officially begin on November 10, 2023, and last through January 7, 2024.

Disney Festival of Holidays is inspired by Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day traditions, featuring diverse food and live entertainment. There will be new and returning food and beverage items at the Festival of Holidays marketplaces. Palisades Stage, Sonoma Terrace, and — for the first time — the Hollywood Backlot will host music and dance performances. Disney and Pixar characters will march with Holiday Toy Drummers in “Mickey’s Happy Holidays.”

Guests can purchase the Sip and Savor Pass, which offers eight entitlement tabs that can be redeemed for select food and nonalcoholic beverages from several marketplaces and participating dining locations in Disney California Adventure. Each Sip and Savor Pass is valid for the entirety of Disney Festival of Holidays and can be shared with friends and family.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! will return to Paradise Gardens Park in Disney California Adventure for its tenth season. This year, Paradise Garden Grill will have an all-new menu for the occasion.

The Three Caballeros host a street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their holiday best. Additional festivities will include live music and dancing, visits with beloved Disney characters, and special appearances by Mirabel from “Encanto.”

Holiday Decorations & Themed Attractions

Seasonal decorations throughout Disneyland Resort will include Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, adorned with icicles and snow-capped turrets; a gingerbread house inspired by sweet treats and pastries at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa; and Christmas trees with uniquely themed ornaments in both theme parks, the Downtown Disney District, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Disneyland Hotel. “Snow” will fall every night in select locations of Disneyland Park.
