“Ahsoka”
“Ahsoka” follows Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s now grown-up padawan as she attempts to stop Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn from returning to the galaxy. Ahsoka first debuted in the 2008 “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” film, voiced by Ashley Eckstein. In live-action, she’s portrayed by Rosario Dawson.
In “Ahsoka,” the former Jedi is joined by her own padawan, Sabine Wren, who was voiced by Tiya Sircar in “Star Wars Rebels.” Natasha Liu Bordizzo portrays her in “Ahsoka.” Sabine cares for a Loth-cat in the early episodes of “Ahsoka.”
All eight episodes of “Ahsoka” have premiered on Disney+. A second season has not yet been announced.
“Luca”
“Luca” is a 2021 Pixar film that takes place on the Italian Riviera. It focuses on Luca Paguro (Jacob Tremblay), a young sea monster who lives underwater. He and fellow sea monster Alberto Scorfano (Jack Dylan Grazer) turn into humans when they are out of the water and take regular visits to the town Portorosso, befriending human Giulia Marcovaldo (Emma Berman). The trio team up to participate in a triathlon, with hopes of winning money for a Vespa to travel the world with.
“Luca” is available to watch on Disney+.
