A new limited-release Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2023 pin recently debuted at EPCOT to coincide with the event’s commencement and the Walt Disney World Resort’s ongoing celebration of the Halloween season. The pin, which features a spooky take on a beloved Disney character, is available at Pin Traders in the World Celebration neighborhood of EPCOT.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2023 Pin – $17.99
The limited-release pin features Pluto donning a mummy costume that’s unraveling as he chases a Mickey-shaped Jack-o’-lantern that’s blowing in the breeze. This imagery is borrowed directly from this year’s event map.

The Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2023 logo appears in purple and orange text above the imagery. The pin comes in themed packaging, as the cardboard that it’s attached to looks like a pumpkin and contains the Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2023 logo. The packaging is inspired by the official event map.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2023
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit returns to EPCOT for this year’s Halloween season after making its debut at Walt Disney World last year. The festive scavenger hunt initially debuted in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort in 2021.
Guests can purchase a Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit map at Creations Shop, Disney Traders, or World Traveler. A map of EPCOT is seen on the front of the map; it’s labeled with 12 locations throughout the park that contain (semi) hidden painted pumpkins.
Guests are encouraged to journey throughout the park and mark each location with its corresponding sticker (included on the back of the map) after seeing the decorated pumpkin for themselves. Whether guests complete the scavenger hunt or not, they can redeem the map for a prize at the same locations where the maps are available.
The prizes for this year’s Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit are orange pumpkin-shaped cups with black straws. There are five different cups to choose from; they contain depictions of the decorated event pumpkins inspired by Pluto, Stitch, Goofy, Minnie, and Mickey. Each cup also features its respective character’s ears sticking out from its sides.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will be offered through October 31, 2023. It’s currently running concurrently with Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, a scavenger hunt that coincides with the ongoing 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
