We spotted this new Walt Disney World Cable Knit Spirit Jersey Sweater at The Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., at Magic Kingdom.
The bottom of this sweater is an intricate cable knit, and the seed stitch used at the top stands in contrast. Together, the two techniques create the signature horizontal seam on this sweater. Other Spirit Jerseys traditionally have a hard seam at this point; the actual knit texture of this Spirit Jersey creates the “seam” with this pattern shift.
At the top breast of the Walt Disney World cable knit Spirit Jersey sweater, the Walt Disney World logo is embroidered in white The stitching used for the logo is a similar red to the shirt itself, but the Walt Disney World D logo is outlined in white to stand out against the shirt’s base color. The words “Est.1971” are also embroidered in white below the logo. The texture of the seed stitch is soft and consistent.
