Guests who pay an additional fee for the Genie+ service at Disneyland Resort will be able to secure Lightning Lane passes for the attraction. The service uses date-and-demand-based pricing and recently increased from a base price of $25 to a minimum price of $30.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opened in the Mickey’s Toontown section of Disneyland Park on January 27, 2023. It is a near-clone of the Disney’s Hollywood Studios attraction that opened on March 4, 2020; that ride replaced The Great Movie Ride, which was an opening day attraction at the park. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway contains Mickey and his friends as they are depicted in the Paul Rudish-created “Mickey Mouse” shorts, which were released under various titles from 2013–2023.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway initially opened at Disneyland Park using the virtual queue system. Individual Lightning Lane entry was also available. A standby queue was introduced in February 2023.

The addition of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway to the Genie+ service is just one of several changes taking effect at Disneyland Resort on October 11. Prices for parking, 1-Day and multi-day passes, and Magic Key annual passes were officially increased on that day.
