To celebrate today being the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company, the book “The Story of Disney 100 Years of Wonder” is available for purchase at Walt Disney World Resort.

We found it in Creations Shop at EPCOT. The book was previously available on shopDisney, but is sold out at the time of press. That being said, it is currently available on Amazon and at a deep discount here.

‘The Story of Disney 100 Years of Wonder’ Book – $60

“The Story of Disney 100 Years of Wonder” is written by John Baxter and Bruce C. Steele, author and editor of “One Day at Disney,” along with the staff of the Walt Disney Archives.

The book is hard cover, and comes with an iridescent dust jacket.

Inside the dust jacket is a small blurb detailing the beginnings of The Walt Disney Company, and what readers can expect to find inside. The print inside the hardcovers is a repeating pattern of posters featuring Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse, and more. You may recognize these posters from several Disney100 offerings, including The Exhibition, which you can watch a tour of below:

Within the first few pages is a quote from Walt:

The actual hardcover of the book is a deep purple-blue shade, with an iridescent foil over the book’s title.

As you would imagine, there’s a lot of ground to cover in a book about 100 years of the world’s most famous entertainment company, but the fairly large book does a good job covering everything from animation to the Disney theme parks and beyond.

The inclusion of Figment is sure to put a smile on any EPCOT fan’s face, as is his nearby character meet & greet.
