Walt Disney World has announced its 2024 discounts for active and retired members of the United States military. The discounts will be offered on both select park tickets and rooms at some Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
2024 Walt Disney World Military Discounts Announced
Discounts are available for active and retired military members, including current or former reservists, the United States Coast Guard, United States Space Ford, National Guard, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Spouses of eligible members with their own valid military identification are also able to purchase park tickets or make room reservations at discounted rates.
Discounts are available from January 1–December 20, 2024, according to the official Walt Disney World website. Some blockout dates are present.
The park ticket discounted prices are as follows:
6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
Purchase now through December 15, 2024.
- With the Park Hopper Option: $409 plus tax
- With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $439 plus tax
5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
Purchase now through December 16, 2024.
- With the Park Hopper Option: $389 plus tax
- With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $419 plus tax
4-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
Purchase now through December 17, 2024.
- With the Park Hopper Option: $369 plus tax
- With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $399 plus tax
March 24–April 6, 2024, and November 24–30, 2024 are blocked out. Discounted tickets cannot be purchased for these dates.
Memory Maker will also be available at a discounted price for eligible military personnel ($98, compared to the current general advance purchase price of $185). Park reservations are required for guests (aged 3 and up) using the discounted tickets; theme park reservations will generally no longer be required at Walt Disney World Resort parks starting on January 9, 2024.
Not all Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms are available at discounted rates for eligible military personnel, with The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort excluded, per the official Disney World website. The following room types are also excluded:
- 3-Bedroom Villas
- Suited in Moderate and Deluxe Resort hotels
- Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
Valid military identification is required upon check-in, and the military member or their spouse must be staying in the reserved room.
