After almost a month of refurbishment, the World Discovery snack cart is back in EPCOT, and now offers seasonal beer selections.

The snack cart can be found near Creations Shop and Connections Eatery.

This cart follows the same red, white, and black color scheme as that of the World Discovery popcorn stand, which reopened in May 2023 after a short refurbishment. A Joffrey’s Coffee stand in the same neighborhood also adopted a red and white colorway in mid-2022.

The front of the stand has a black and white design inspired by the Alucobond paneling on Spaceship Earth.

A new rolling tap cart has been added, allowing guests to enjoy seasonal beer offerings. The limit is two per person with a valid I.D.

The tap cart also has a Spaceship Earth-inspired design.

The cart still offers its usual fare like hot dogs, ice cream bars, Mickey pretzels, and more.

The ice cream is kept in a rolling freezer behind and off to the side of the snack cart. It has a similar design to the tap cart, but with an ice cream symbol instead of a beer symbol on the front.

The World Discovery neighborhood of EPCOT features three marquee attractions: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Mission: SPACE, and Test Track. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is an indoor thrill ride that opened in mid-2022 as part of a years-long EPCOT reimagining that will soon conclude with the formal openings of the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana walkthrough experience and the World Celebration neighborhood.

Mission: SPACE is a motion simulator that opened in August of 2003 and was (very) loosely inspired by “Mission to Mars,” a 2000 box office blunder that was itself inspired by the former Disneyland and Magic Kingdom shows of the same name. The attraction offers two unique experiences: the intense Orange Mission, which transports guests to Mars, and the tamer Green Mission, which provides guests with a scenic view of Earth from space. Extensive renovations to the area surrounding the ride are currently taking place.

Test Track opened in 1999 as a replacement for World of Motion, which was an opening day attraction at EPCOT (then EPCOT Center) in late 1982. The ride received an overhaul in 2012 and is currently undergoing another reimagining, as it was announced during the “A Celebration of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products: Yesterday Today and Tomorrow” panel at Destination D23 2023 that a new World of Motion-inspired take on Test Track is in the works.
