The opening of the new Blue Ribbon Corn Dog location on Disney’s BoardWalk has been pushed back to 2024. The official DisneyEats Instagram account announced the future food kiosk’s broad new “2024” opening window in an Instagram post on November 29, also showcasing some of the items that will be available at the location when it ultimately opens next year.
Blue Ribbon Corn Dog Opening Pushed Back to 2024
Blue Ribbon Corn Dog was announced as the replacement for the former BoardWalk To Go kiosk on Disney’s BoardWalk in July of 2023. The brand shared in an Instagram video at the time that its new location would open “later this year.” Though work is currently being done to the stand that will ultimately house Blue Ribbon Corn Dog on Disney’s BoardWalk, the location will miss its previously targeted opening window.
DisneyEats announced the delay with the following in the post:
Hot diggity (corn) dog! Have you heard the news? Blue Ribbon Corn Dog is heading to Walt Disney World Resort at Disney’s BoardWalk in 2024. This new location will have some favorites from Disneyland Resort as well as some brand-new ones exclusive to Disney’s BoardWalk. Get your sneak peek!
– Mexican Street Corn Dog
– Pickle Dog
– Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade (Non-alcoholic beverages)
-Fresh Spun Cotton Candy
Disney and delicious food fans alike may already be familiar with Blue Ribbon Corn Dog, as there’s currently a location in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. Some of the items from the Downtown Disney District menu will be available at the new location; DisneyEats detailed one of these items in addition to some of the Walt Disney World Resort-exclusive dishes and treats in its Wednesday Instagram post.
The Pickle Dog will be making the journey from California to Disney’s BoardWalk, with DisneyEats sharing an image of the deep-fried pickle-wrapped hot dog in its update.
The account also highlighted a new Mexican Street Corn Dog, posting an image showcasing a traditional corn dog enhanced with what appear to be traditional Mexican street corn toppings: corn, chopped cilantro, cotija cheese, a sour cream mixture, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
The Blue Ribbon Corn Dog location on Disney’s BoardWalk will also serve both traditional and strawberry lemonade in addition to fresh spun cotton candy.
The non-seasonal menu at the Blue Ribbon Corn Dog stand in the Downtown Disney District currently contains the following items:
- Classic Dog: Classic, All-Beef Corn Dog. Served with a Bag of Chips – $12.50
- Pickle Dog: Hot Dog, wrapped in a Pickle, fried in Cornmeal Batter, and Panko Crusted. Served with a Bag of Chips and Peanut Butter – $15.50
- Golden Dragon: Classic, All-Beef Corn Dog, crusted with Panko Breadcrumbs. Served with a side of Sriracha Mayo, sweet Thai chili, and a Mandarin – $15.50
- Kid Dog: Kid size, All-Beef Corn Dog. Served with a Bag of Chips – $10.50
