Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort launched the Heeler Family Hide ‘N’ Seek scavenger hunt on Thursday, marking the first official use of “Bluey” at Walt Disney World, and at Disney Parks & Resorts in general.
‘Bluey’ Heeler Family Hide ‘N’ Seek
The free scavenger hunt game began on November 2. Here is the description:
The Heeler family is on Holiday at the Campground and is playing a game of Hide ‘N’ Seek. Bluey needs your help to find all her family members so she can be crowned the “Hide ‘N’ Seek Winner” at their first Thanksgiving Dinner! Follow each clue to lead you to a family member in hiding. Once all the Heelers have been found, head to the Bike Barn to claim your prize!
The clue guide is available at the Bike Barn from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Given the mention of Thanksgiving and the clue guide’s fall theme, this scavenger hunt may only be available for the month of November.
Clues include “The first Heeler is nearby, so do not delay! Help Bluey find this fun uncle where there are many games to play.”
Under each clue, there is a space to write the family member’s name and location.
During the scavenger hunt, you’ll look for these circular decals featuring various characters. Their pictures and names are in the center.
Don’t worry, we won’t spoil any locations, so you can do the scavenger hunt yourself.
Upon completion, guests are rewarded with a sticker resembling the character decals.
The sticker reads “Heeler Family Hide ‘N’ Seek” on the blue border, with “Fort” on one side and “2023” on the other. Bluey and Bingo are pictured enjoying the sunshine in the center of the sticker.
“Bluey”
“Bluey” is an Australian animated kids TV series created by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio. It premiered on ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) Kids on October 1, 2018.
Disney acquired international broadcasting rights for “Bluey” in 2019 and the series premiered on Disney Junior that September. It is available to stream on Disney+ in most territories.
The main characters are Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, and Chilli Heeler, a family of Blue Heeler and Red Heeler dogs. Bluey represents a six to seven-year-old child, while her sister Bingo is four. Bandit and Chilli, voiced by David McCormack and Melanie Zanetti, are their parents. The rest of the cast is made up of other dogs, many of which are extended family members. Bluey, Bingo, and the other child characters are voiced by children of the production crew and are not credited.
