Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has several rare and exclusive character meet and greets, including Jack Skellington, Santa Claus, and Disney Princes with the Princesses. We were able to check out a few of the interactions during the first night of the separately ticketed event, which is offered on select nights between November 9 and December 22, 2023.
Main Street, U.S.A.
Toy Soldier, Market Street
At the start of the party, guests can meet a toy soldier from Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade on Market Street.
Jack and Sally, Town Square Theater
Jack Skellington in his Sandy Claws outfit is at the Town Square Theater, next to Mickey Mouse.
Sally was removed from the list of character meet and greets but did appear with Jack on the first night. The removal may have been in error or Sally may not appear every night.
The pair pose in front of a Christmas tree, with the full moon on the wall behind them showing Oogie Boogie’s face.
Mickey Mouse, Town Square Theater
Mickey is in his usual meet and greet location, but appears in a Christmas outfit: red pants, a green velvet jacket, and a red and white striped waistcoat and bowtie.
Mary Poppins, Town Square
Mary Poppins appears in the courtyard next to Town Square Theater.
Fantasyland
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Mad Tea Party
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum appear outside of the Mad Tea Party. They don a festive take on their traditional attires, as both characters wear green scarves with red and white tassels for the party.
Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet
Winnie the Pooh and Tigger interact with guests at their usual meet and greet location near The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction. They’re joined by Piglet and Eeyore for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Each character is wearing a festive scarf for the holiday celebration. Pooh’s is green with red polka dots and white tassels, Piget’s features red and green stripes, Tigger’s is bright green with red tassels and Christmas tree embroidery, and Eeyore’s is a single shade of blue with snowflake detailing.
Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, Cinderella and Prince Charming
Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder meet guests near Cinderella Castle, which aptly also serves as the location for the Cinderella and Prince Charming meet and greet.
Other character meet and greets in the Fantasyland section of Magic Kingdom include Alice and the White Rabbit, Ariel and Prince Eric, Snow White and The Prince, Aurora and Prince Phillip, Belle, and Mirabel.
Storybook Circus
Seven Dwarfs
The Seven Dwarfs meet and greet made its highly-anticipated return to Magic Kingdom at this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Dwarfs return to their usual location at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus; Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey have all donned festive scarves for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. They stand in front of their usual photo backdrop that’s now flanked by decorated Christmas trees.
Other character meet and greets in the Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland include Minnie Mouse with Donald and Daisy Duck, Scrooge McDuck, and Santa Goofy.
Adventureland
Stitch
The Stitch meet and greet is available in the queue area for Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Experiment 626 stands in front of a backdrop that reads “Mele Kalikimaka from Hawaii” — though not a direct translation, “Mele Kalikimaka” is a way to say “Merry Christmas” in Hawaiian.
Stitch is wearing a tropical green button-up shirt with red flowers printed across it.
Other character meet and greets in the Adventureland section of Magic Kingdom include Aladdin alongside Abu, Jasmine, and Genie, Captain Jack Sparrow, and Peter Pan.
Frontierland
Country Bears
The Country Bears (specifically Romeo Shaker, Wendell, and Big Al) were advertised as meet-and-greet characters in Frontierland, but we only saw them participating in a dance show. They, too, were wearing festive scarves.
Liberty Square
Santa Claus, Gazebo
Some character greetings, like Santa Claus, are marked with signs featuring appearance times.
Santa is in the Liberty Square gazebo behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. He sits on a red couch in front of a decorated tree.
A Tiana and Naveen meet and greet is also available in the Liberty Square section of the park.
