Add some elegance and class to your wardrobe in the form of this Dapper Dans polo now available at Disneyland Park. We found this striped shirt at Fortuosity Shop, which is aptly located on Main Street U.S.A, the traditional home of the group.

Dapper Dans Knit Polo – $78.00

Fit right in with the iconic troupe with this knit pullover polo. The cotton shirt features a repeating red pinstripe pattern across the front and back, stopping at the sleeves to simulate the appearance of a Dapper Dans vest. Though the group has occasionally worn different costumes in the past (typically for certain holidays), the Dapper Dans traditionally wear vibrantly-colored vests. Red, of course, is one of the colors usually worn by a performer.

Members of the Dapper Dans place the patterned vests over white collared shirts, and that look has been recreated on the polo through its plain white collar and sleeves. The garment even contains thick red lines around the arms, replicating the appearance of the sleeve garters worn by the Dapper Dans.

An embroidered red “D” is sewn over the left breast. The “D” is taken from the official Disneyland Park wordmark; the “D” is occasionally used by itself in advertising as an icon.

The shirt’s hem and sleeves contain ribbed bands, further contributing to its vintage look.

The pinstripe pattern covers the back of the shirt, but it otherwise contains no special branding or detailing.

Dapper Dans

The Dapper Dans are a traditional barbershop quartet that’s been an entertainment offering at Disneyland Park since its opening day on July 17, 1955. The group harmonizes over a varied and changing setlist that includes original songs, traditional barbershop tunes, and the occasional Disney classic, filling the time between numbers with jokes and some guest interaction. They play instruments and tap dance as part of the performance, crafting an experience that’s easy on the ears and is uniquely Disney.

The Dapper Dans perform on Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland Park on most days at the following times:

• 11 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 1:25 p.m., 2:35 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m.

A version of the group also performs on Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and has done so since the park’s opening day. A rendition of the Dapper Dans previously performed at Hong Kong Disneyland but stopped in 2008.

The quartet has served as the inspiration for much Disney Parks merchandise in the past, most recently a Main Street U.S.A.-inspired crossbody bag that features the group’s iconic pinstripe pattern.
