Disney California Adventure will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 13 to celebrate those behind the scenes who help the park function.
Disney California Adventure Closing To Celebrate Cast Members
Disney California Adventure’s hours of operation for November 13 have been listed as 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT on its official website since at least mid-October. On November 12, Instagram user disneymikem shared an image of a sign that’s currently visible at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa that informs guests of the reason for the upcoming early closure. The sign reads:
On Monday November 13th Disney California Adventure Park will be closing at 5:00 p.m. to celebrate the service milestone anniversaries of our Cast Members, Imagineers, and Employees.
The park is typically open until 10 or 11 p.m. on standard, non-event nights.
Though not necessarily a frequent occurrence, Disney California Adventure typically closes early to celebrate the service milestones of Cast Members at least once per year, most recently doing so in March of 2022. Similar celebrations sometimes happen across other areas of Disneyland Resort.
Disney California Adventure’s annual Festival of Holidays is currently occurring. The event will run through January 7, 2024.
