Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park closed early on Thursday, November 16, 2023, due to adverse weather in the area. The park opened at 10:00 a.m. and was scheduled to close at 5:00 p.m., but closed at noon instead.

The Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks have been alternating operation for the past few years. Blizzard Beach is usually open for the winter, into March 2023. Closures due to weather are not uncommon. In 2022 and early 2023, it had to close several times due to cold temperatures.

In Central Florida, it has been raining almost non-stop since Wednesday afternoon. The low in Lake Buena Vista for Thursday is 68° and the high is only 72°.
