Last year one of our favorite things (ironically available at the Favorite Things marketplace!) at the Festival of Holidays in Disney California Adventure was the Churro Toffee Cold Brew Latte, so we’re absolutely delighted to see it return this year! Along with that, a new “The Santa Clauses” themed macaron is available on the menu, Pork Belly Adobo, and a Cherry Mango Punch.

Previously, the Braised Pork Belly Adobo was available from the Holiday Duets marketplace in 2022. Additionally, the Cherry-Mango Punch was available at Winter Sliderland in 2022.

Braised Pork Belly Adobo – $8.50
Garlic Fried Rice with Braised Pork Belly, Chicharron Pieces, and Green Onions
This dish, returning from 2022, has a good garlic flavor, but the rice is a bit crunchy, and the pork rinds taste a bit stale.
The overall note of the dish is garlic. We found the pork flakes and falls apart easily.
While the rich, fatty parts did help with the flavor and moisture, this wasn’t our favorite of the festival. However, if you love pork belly, you’d probably be happy with this.

Chocolate Macaron filled with Ganache, Peanut Butter Mousse, and Salted Pretzels
This is a sweet and delicious chocolate peanut butter macaron.
It’s soft on the inside, and the outside is perfectly crumbly.
It’s one of our favorite dessert options and we highly recommend it.
Cherry Mango Punch – $7
Mango Purée, Cherry and Peach Syrups, and Lemon Juice garnished with a Frozen Peach (Non-alcoholic beverage)
The new Cherry-Mango Punch may have a tad too much going on when it comes to a beverage. There are so many flavors vying for attention, that it all melts together to feel more like a generic fruit punch flavor, rather than any of its component parts.
And even at that, it’s not a spectacular fruit punch flavor. We would prefer to taste the individual fruit notes, rather than a jumbled-up concoction which ends up leaving the drink as one of the more forgettable offerings of the festival.
Churro Toffee Cold Brew Latte – $7.25
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Mexico Origin Coffee, Cinnamon Sugar, Vanilla Bean, and Almond Milk garnished with Churro syrup-flavored Whipped Cream and Toffee Crumble (Non-alcoholic beverage)
We loved this cold brew latte, which has all the fun of a cup of coffee with the cinnamon sugar flavors of churro and toffee, two of Disneyland’s favorite treats. The coffee isn’t entirely lost in the shuffle of the latte, as is often the case with the more intense cold brew drinks here at the resort.
The dark roasted flavor of the coffee works well with the churro and toffee flavors that get added to it. This one is a winner!
The Festival of Holidays will run at Disney California Adventure from November 10, 2023, to January 7, 2024.
