With Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser permanently closed — at least until Disney finds a use for the facility that will still make them money — exclusive merchandise from the hotel has been arriving at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We previously found Galactic Starcruiser apparel and the personalizable lightsaber in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, as well as branded apparel in Keystone Clothiers. Now available at the park is the D3-O9 action figure, which wasn’t actually released until just a few months ago, after it was already announced Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser would be closing.
D3-O9 Action Figure – $14.99
D3-O9 was a logistics droid built for Chandrila Star Line centuries before the events of the “Star Wars” films. The droid spoke to guests via screens, acting as a virtual assistant, and didn’t actually appear in person on the Halcyon.
D3-O9 is a mostly silver-gray droid with gold touches on her torso, hands, head, and lower legs.
Her joints and feet are darker gray and there are small blue pieces on her chest.
The packaging features Chandrila Star Line and Droid Factory branding. The back reads:
All different droids populate the galaxy.
Each droid is different and has their own unique personality and colors. Commissioned by Chandrila Star Line’s founder, the talkative logistles droid D3-09 has been ahoard the Halcyon starcruiser since its first voyage and witnessed it-and the entire palaxy-evolve over the centuntes… and she’s not shy about sharing her knowledge and opinions.
